Divorce

Over 40% of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce, and couples who lived together beforehand, had a child out-of-wedlock or a prenuptial agreement saw the highest divorce rate. Of all divorces, 34% involve children. Most couples will remarry within years of the divorce. The divorce rate increases to over 60% for a second marriage and nearly 75% for a third marriage.
